Silver Sharks Aerobatic Team
The Silver Sharks Aerobatic Team, hailing from South Australia, is composed of four passionate aviators: James Hart, Lyndon Trethewey, Stewart Michael, and John Buttrose. Their performances are a testament to their dedication to safety and precision, ensuring each display is both thrilling and secure.
Recently, the Silver Sharks captivated audiences at the Aldinga Airshow 2024, showcasing their exceptional formation flying skills. Their participation in events like the OTR The Bend SuperSprint further highlights their commitment to bringing dynamic aerial displays to spectators.
As they prepare to take to the skies at AusFly 2025, attendees can anticipate a performance that shows the Silver Sharks’ unique blend of passion, teamwork, and aerial artistry.
Freedom Formation
Freedom Formation is back after wowing crowds at AusFly 2024 and the Pacific Airshow 2024. They’re the largest Formation Aerobatic Display Team in the Southern Hemisphere, with expertly choreographed aerobatic routines that will captivate you with precision flying and spectacular formations.
Screaming Diamonds
Screaming Diamonds, known for their heart-pounding aerobatics, are returning to the skies of AusFly after their exhilarating performances at both AusFly 2024 and the Pacific Airshow 2024. Headed up by Pilot, Adrian van der Sluys these guys will see their team consisting of a Pitts S1-11 and two Pitts S1T looping, weaving and diving in a colourful display that is set to impress even the biggest of kids on the beach!

There is no other aircraft like the Pitts S1 -11 with its incredible light weight, big horsepower and powerful flight controls.
Adrian Van Der Sluys built the aircraft over 5 years. Starting with the original design from Curtis Pitts that was created in the early 90’s and increased the performance by using the latest materials and construction techniques available today. This has completely enhanced the strength, aerodynamics, power to weight ratio and control ability and of the aircraft.
