Future Flyers
Colouring & Drawing Competition

On behalf of the Ausfly team, we invite you to take part in our “Future Flyers” Colouring and drawing competition.

The competition will take form in three year group categories:

  1. Kindergarten to Year 2
  2. Year 3-4
  3. Year 5-6

Below are two colouring templates to issue to students in Kindergarten through to Year 2 and another for years 3-4.

Kindergarden Template and Year 3-4 Template

For years 5-6 we welcome them to draw their own experimental aircraft pictures.  We encourage the students to go to various websites such as Vans, Cirrus, Lancair and Cessna to gain ideas of the different aircraft to draw and / or colour.  Take a look at the Sport Aircraft Association website at saaa.com to look at the different manufacturers and design of aircraft.

Students need to ensure that the following details are on the colouring page that they submit:

  • Name
  • Age
  • Year group
  • School

All entries will be displayed at Ausfly 2022.

Prizes will be awarded to one winner of each of the three year group categories and awarded on Saturday 17th September 2022.

All entries are to be returned to Alison Attwater at Narromine Shire Council via email aattwater@narromine.nsw.gov.au by Friday 26th August 2022.

We look forward to seeing the inspiration of our future flyers at Ausfly 2022.

Young Aviator Program
AusFly 2022!

In 2022, we are running a Young Aviator Program for High Schools to participate in. Since COVID, the aviation industry has been impacted greatly. Part of its revival will be in our high school students learning and training to be a part of the industry. Whether a pilot, engineer, Air Traffic Controller, or a chef designing meals on board, there are many options to choose from.

We invite you to bring along your year 10 and/or 11 students who would be interested in hearing and being inspired by our guest speakers talk about careers in aviation. This is a free event and places are limited.

We request you register by completing the attached form as soon as you can. Registrations close Friday 19th August 2022.
