Flying in to Wentworth NSW

Pilots are advised to check the website for any updates and revisions within 48 hours of their planned arrival at Wentworth.

Please note: Wentworth Shire have confirmed that “fees will be waived for all movements during the Ausfly event, commencing 7am (local time) Thursday 21st March to 5pm (Local time) Sunday 24th March.” 

 

Driving

Wentworth airport and town is located in the far south west of the state of New South Wales bordering Victoria. It lies at the confluence of Australia’s two most important rivers, the Darling and the Murray. It takes 12 hours to drive from Sydney and 6 hours from Melbourne. Parking is available within the airport precinct.

 


Commercial Flights

Mildura Airport is 34km away and is the closest airport with domestic flights arriving from Sydney/Melbourne and other parts of Australia.
