Inspiring the Next Generation of Aviators at AusFly 2025

At AusFly, we’re committed to ensuring that our future aviators are not just entertained, but also inspired. Our youth-focused activities are designed to ignite a passion for aviation and provide hands-on experiences that bring the world of aircraft building to life.

Young attendees will have the chance to engage in a variety of exciting activities.They’ll learn how to use tools and even participate in metal disc welding, offering a unique opportunity to understand and experience what it’s like to put together a plane.

Additionally, they can listen to captivating build stories from our SAAA members, who will share their journeys of crafting their own aircraft. These stories are sure to inspire and fascinate young minds, giving them a glimpse into the dedication and skill required to bring an aircraft to life.

Be sure to visit the SAAA’s Youth Build and Fly Program’s pride and joy—RV12 Miss Tori. This amazing and beautifully crafted machine was built by students from five schools across Australia and will be on display for all to admire. It’s a testament to what can be achieved when passion and teamwork come together.
